Herb Walks, Herb Talks: Wild Plants | June 13th
Sunday, Jun 13, 2021
1:00pm – 4:00pm
Come out into the forest and fields and see what grows in our area! We will explore wild plants for healing and how our ancestors used these plants. We live in a most diverse and rich ecosystem in North Idaho and I love to share the bounty of uses of these common species. We will identify but not gather.
Our walk will be over mostly level ground, doable for most able people. It will take 3 hours and is not suitable for young children.
Cost – $25 per person
Suggested books, Edible and Medicinal Plants of the Rockies by Linda Kershaw, and Plants of Southern Interior British Columbia and the Inland Northwest by Parish, Coupe and Lloyd. These are not required, but most useful!
